High School Choice – Town of Orange
The Town of Orange is a school choice town for grades 9–12, meaning students may attend any Vermont public high school or any Agency of Education (AOE)–approved independent school.
If a parent chooses to send their student to an AOE-approved independent school, the Echo Valley School District will pay up to the average Vermont announced high school tuition.
For 2025-2026 school year that amount is $19,774.
Example: Lyndon Institute is one such AOE-approved independent school.
