Aldrich Public Library

Main Branch 476-7550 and York Branch-East Barre 476-5118

In the 1890s, Leonard Frost Aldrich bequeathed money for a free public library in Barre, VT. The Aldrich Library, which has been developed from the generous gift of Mr. Aldrich, still serves all of Barre. The library is operated by an autonomous Board of Trustees.
The Aldrich Library Board of Trustees recently completed a $1.6 million addition and renovation project to the original library first constructed in 1907. The Trustees also operate a satellite library in the village of East Barre.  Visit their web site at http://www.aldrichpubliclibrary.org/ or come visit or follow them on Facebook to stay up to date on their latest events
